In late November (albeit a little late), agrigold group of industries we have Peter & Rita Podere di Maggio (agriturismo, a must for the holidays in typical Tuscan houses) a day helped with the harvesting of the olives. It was one of the coldest, but also one of the most beautiful days in this autumn. The pictures tell the rest ... Peter, along with Rita owner of Podere di Maggio! Domenica in action! A crate weighs about 25 pounds and produces 3 liters of olive oil. A tree of average size supplies (this season) over 3 crates at about 10 liters of olive oil. This will be discussed in a reasonably good harvest.
